Please note that if you do not register for soccer online, you will need to have completed the application process for the Active Kids voucher, prior to attending the registration day at OPS.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL OUR REGISTRATIONS DAY BE?

This year we are changing our venue for registration day. It will be held over two consecutive weekends in February 2024 (3rd and 10th). We will be holding our registration days at Orange Public School – Infants Department on Anson Street (opposite the old netball courts). We will be there between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on both days. You will need to enter via the main gates and head up the steps into the courtyard. The committee will be set up ready to take your registrations and answer any questions you may have.

CAN I REGISTER ONLINE?

Yes you can. We recommend you register online before our registration days, that way you can just come down to our registration days and meet our committee. Details about how to register on-line can be found on our "Online Registration Guide" page. You will still need to apply for membership of the Orange Ex-Services Club if you register online.

If you have registered online before, click here to re-register.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO REGISTER?

Registration Fees for this year are as follows

  • Under 5 to Under 9 - $150

  • Under 10 to Under 11 - $160

  • Under 12 to Under 16 - $170

  • All Age 17 & 18 - $175

  • All Age Over 18 Full Time Student - $285

  • All Age Over 18 Working Full Time - $305

CAN I PAY REGISTRATIONS FEES ONLINE?

Yes, you can pay your fees online via credit card when you register through Playfootball. Please note that if you pay by credit card, you will be charged a small fee (1.8%). For those that don't want to pay via credit card online, select the pay manual payment option when registering online and direct deposit to the bank details on registration page

I NEED SOME ASSISTANCE TO PAY OFF MY FEES? IS THIS OK?

Absolutely! We are happy to arrange a payment plan to ensure that full fees are paid before the season commences. It is very important to arrange this with our treasurer as soon as possible. The best option is to see us on registration day. If you are unable to be at registration day you can contact us. Linda McMillen is our Treasurer, so please contact her through our 'Contact' page. She is happy to implement a payment plan to ease the burden of fees. (Usually amount is divided by number of weeks remaining until

the season starts, can be paid weekly or fortnightly).

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON. PLAYERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO TAKE THE FIELD IF FEES ARE UNPAID. THIS COVERS BOTH PLAYER AND THE CLUB FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.

WHERE DO MY FEES GO?

Once you have paid the club your fees, the money is divided up in a number of ways. We pay money to Football NSW and Western Football to cover players for insurance and liability purposes. Money also goes to the Orange City Council for the use of public sporting grounds. The club then uses the remainder to purchase equipment for the teams, playing gear and presentation day.

IF IT IS A WET SEASON CAN I GET A REFUND OF MY FEES?

Unfortunately we are unable to refund families in case of a wet winter. As previously discussed, the money received from players is divided in three different ways and we are not able to refund players.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE EX-SERVICES CLUB TO REGISTER?

Yes. As we are sponsored by the Orange Ex-Services Club, all players are required to become members. If you are registering your child, a parent needs to be a member as well as the player. Adult memberships cost $10 per year and junior memberships are $2.20. A club representative will be available at registration day to sign up new members. If you are unable to make it to registration day and need to join the club, simply head in the back entrance from the underground carpark and chat to the staff. They are able to sign you up and you can pay your fees there via cash or EFTPOS. Your photo will be taken and your membership card will be printed out on the spot. Our treasurer receives monthly reports regarding membership so if you haven’t signed up please do so as soon as possible.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE?

Once registrations have been completed, the registrar will place everyone into teams in their respective age groups. Where possible, we will try to accommodate requests for friends to play in the same team, but this is not possible all of the time.

Once team lists are finalised, each team will be assigned a coach and your coach will then be in contact with you to arrange a suitable time for training. Team lists will also be published on this website.

Draws for each age division will then be available from the ODFA website.
